Hamilton Construction has been meeting the individual needs of our clients since 1939. We have grown from a small firm building concrete roads and irrigation systems in Oregon, to a corporation performing over $100 Million annually in concrete and steel construction throughout the Northwest. During this time, Hamilton has met the demanding needs of both public agencies and private firms, including Oregon DOT, Washington State DOT, California DOT, Tri-Met, Weyerhaeuser, Georgia Pacific and Portland General Electric to name a few. We have worked with many of our clients for over 40 years. A proven track record of quick response and reliability make us the first choice of many agencies and firms facing time-critical and emergency situations.
We specialize and excel in construction projects over bodies of water, or with difficult access, where our experience in constructing work bridges, cofferdams, barging in materials and equipment, and solving difficult access problems are a must for the successful completion of the project. Hamilton is also a leader in the Design/Build arena and can offer a complete range of construction management and design services for a turn-key project. Remaining innovative helps us meet our client's needs today and will carry our firm forward toward meeting the needs of tomorrow.

Company Overview
Hamilton Construction is comprised of skilled, experienced staff, utilizing their knowledge and equipment to carry a project through from start to finish. Our combination of young and energetic people with new ideas, and older staff members with years of construction experience form a solid foundation on which Hamilton Construction continues to meet the changing needs of our clients.
There are several departments within our organization, each one having specific responsibilities toward our common goal of completing each job on time, within budget, and with quality workmanship.
Jobsite
Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen and Job Office Managers (JOMs)
Each major construction project is equipped with a job office and staging yard. The job office acts as a satellite office during the duration of the job. The Project Manager, Superintendent & support staff plan, schedule and run the project from the job office, scheduling subcontractors, ordering materials and supplies from suppliers and ensuring that the appropriate equipment is available at the jobsite when needed. Each project team brings many years of construction experience with them to effectively and successfully execute each project.
Home Office
Operations and Administration
This group of people serves as the home office support staff for each project. They prepare the subcontract agreements and supply orders, aid in the scheduling and delivery of equipment and supplies to each jobsite, and handle a variety of the job problems that arise throughout the course of construction. They also prepare and process extra work orders, claims, and other correspondence with the owner, analyze current job costs and prepare job cost projections for each project, ensure the DBE/MBE/WBE contract goals are met according to plan, research, and set wage and fringe rates for each project, and process each job's weekly time.
Structural Steel and Wood Fabrication Yard
Hamilton Construction maintains a home-office fabrication yard consisting of foremen and crew skilled in drafting and fabricating custom formwork and major steel structures such as false work, flumes, work bridges, and EZ Bridges, Hamilton's own patented, portable bridge system. These fabrication resources offer increased productivity and tight quality control over field fabrication.

Hamilton Construction maintains a modern inventory of construction equipment, including:

- RT Cranes: 7 cranes 22t to 50t
- Backhoes: 6 with various attachments for each.

- Finish Machines: 3 Bidwell Boom Truss Finish Machines up to 120'

- Pile Gear: Diesel and Air Hammers up to 83,000# energy rating
- Trucks: 7 Tractors and 41 trailers

- Generators: 13 from 10kW to 60kW
- Compressors: 13 for 185cfm to 260 cfm

- Manlifts: 6 with 42' to 85' of reach
- Steel: Over 15 Million pounds of beams and pile used for false work, work bridges and detour bridges.
