95th Street Bridge Replacement
Start Date: March 2016
End Date: August 2016
This project replaced the 95th St. Bridge over Coal Creak which was destroyed in the September floods of 2013. The scope of work also included road paving, grading, drainage installation, retaining wall construction, and channel restoration. Our team held weekly progress and schedule meetings with City of Louisville and CDOT, as well as managed all traffic staging and MHT’s and coordinated with neighbors to reduce impacts to driveway access.
“…Challenges included construction over Coal Creek, numerous environmental concerns, and impacts to an adjacent resident. Hamilton worked with the City and CDOT to complete the project on time and under budget. Hamilton was also able to incorporate owner requested change orders into the work schedule. I would like to express my confidence in Hamilton and our desire to work with them in the future.” – Joliette Woodson, PE, Project Manager, City of Louisville
